Cardiovascular
Research in the cardiovascular area addresses basic questions relevant to the establishment, remodeling, and pathology of the heart and circulatory system. Experimental approaches include developmental and cardiovascular disease models, and studies of the genetic basis of disease.
Interests:
Mechanisms of TGF-beta receptor regulation in vascular development and disease. Roles of endoglin in prostate cancer and its microenvironment. Study of biomedically-relevant models using mass spectrometry for quantitative protein analysis.
