Brief Biography

I attended the University of Maine where I was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa and Phi Kappa Phi. After graduation from Dartmouth Medical School in 1981, I completed my residency at the Mount Auburn Hospital in Cambridge, Massachusetts, an affiliate of Harvard Medical School.
I then practiced internal medicine for almost forty years, including nine years as vice president of medical affairs at St. Joseph Hospital, a community hospital in Bangor, Maine, retiring in 2020.
