Brief Biography

I grew up in a small town in Bangladesh. I have had a keen interest in solving mathematical and physics problems since childhood. This passion led me to pursue a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering. During my undergraduate studies, I have done several engineering projects that enhanced my understanding of electronics circuit design, signal processing, and computer programming. Later, while pursuing my master’s degree, I specialized in optical systems, focusing on photonics and laser technology. I completed an internship at the Institute Fresnel in France, where I worked on advanced polarization microscopy imaging, which involved analyzing the polarization state of light to improve imaging contrast and resolution. In addition, I have successfully done my master’s thesis at the University of Barcelona in Spain, where I upgraded an imaging polarimeter for biomedical applications, enhancing its accuracy and functionality for better measurement and analysis of polarized light in various optical applications. In the future, I want to explore the field of biomedical optics, specifically focusing on optical imaging techniques. I am eager to further enrich my expertise and refine my skills in these specialized areas through my doctoral studies at the University of Maine.
