Brief Biography
I am originally from Minocqua, a small town in northern Wisconsin. As an undergraduate student I attended the University of Wisconsin-Platteville and received a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in German in 2020. While I was an undergrad I worked as a research assistant in the Hamilton Lab, studying polymer systems for applications in contamination control on optical and aerospace surfaces. Currently, I am a second year GSBSE Ph.D. student through the University of Maine and I am working in the Harrison Lab at the University of New England studying a novel molecular target for relieving chronic pain. I am not entirely sure what I want to do after school, luckily I still have a bit of time to figure it out.
