Though I am originally from De Smet, South Dakota, I attended college at Florida International University in Miami, Florida. At FIU, I attained a Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, with a Minor in Chemistry. I was also able to participate in research as an undergraduate student, where I helped to model blood flow in the brain mathematically and computationally. I developed a passion for computational modeling and research, and I was honored to present my research at multiple symposiums and conferences. At the University of Maine, I am privileged to work with Dr. Guidoboni, with whom I am working to model the lower urinary tract. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, baking, and art. |
