Dr. Elias appointed to the Board of Editors of the American Journal of Hypertension
Merrill F Elias, Emeritus Professor of Psychology and Emeritus Cooperating Professor, Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences and Engineering, has just been appointed to the Board of Editors of the American Journal of Hypertension (high blood pressure). He presently also serves on the Board of Editors Hypertension and the Journal of Clinical Medicine. He has served as an editor for the Journal of Alzheimer’s Disease. These publications take articles employing animal models and clinical and epidemiological studies with humans with biological and cognitive functioning outcomes.
He is Director of the Maine-Syracuse Longitudinal Study (MSLS) of hypertension, cardiovascular disease, and cognitive function (http://www.mslsperspectives.net).
