Fitzsimons awarded the Thomas Maciag Award for Excellence in Basic & Translational Science

Lindsey Avery Fitzsimons, GSBSE PhD student in Biomedical Science at the University of New England, was awarded the (Trainee) Thomas Maciag Award for Excellence in Basic & Translational Science, and was asked to give a talk at the Annual Costas T. Lambrew Research Retreat, held at Maine Medical Center  (May 1, 2019). The talk was entitled “Primary cilia of the cardiac neural crest orchestrate critical aspects of ventricular myocardial maturation and postnatal cardiac function.”
