Postdoctoral Research Fellow, Rieger Lab
The Rieger Lab seeks a motivated postdoctoral research fellow, to begin immediately. The Rieger Lab investigates mechanisms of cutaneous sensory axon de- and regeneration utilizing in vivo imaging in zebrafish and cell culture models. The lab aims to analyze mechanisms of sensory axon regeneration under conditions of chemotherapy and/or skin injury with emphasis on the role of epidermis in this process. Candidates should have a Ph.D. or M.D./Ph.D. in Developmental, Cell or Molecular Biology, Neuroscience, or a closely related subject area. The Rieger Lab is committed to scientific excellence, collaborative work, student training, public outreach, and active mentorship for professional growth.
