Brief Biography

I was born and raised in central Maine before going off to Boston for undergraduate work, culminating in an undergraduate thesis project through the Engle laboratory at Boston Children’s Hospital. My thesis was piloting a CRISPR/Cas9 knockout screening method for congenital cranial dysinnervation disorders in zebrafish.

My area of focus is genetics & the underlying genetic causes of illnesses and developmental disorders.
